Do plants count?

I couldn’t find a suitable word in Kannada for Spring trap.  So had to coin one.  The word used here is “serepanja” or should it have been “panjasere”?  I feel the first one conveys the meaning quickly and the latter could be used for spring trapping, as a verb.  Your comments are welcome
