ಬೂಸಿಗೆಷ್ಟು ಬೆಲೆ

ಇಂದಿನ  ಇ-ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ. ಕಾಮ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಲೇಖನ. ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಅಲೆಕ್ಸಾಂಡರ್ ಫ್ಲೆಮಿಂಗನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪೆನಿಸಿಲಿಯಮ್ ಬೂಸಿನ ತುಣುಕೊಂದನ್ನು 15000 ಡಾಲರುಗಳ ಮೊತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹರಾಜು ಹಾಕಲಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸಿದ ಪೆನಿಸಿಲಿನ್ ಶೋಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗದು. ಇಂತಹ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಬೂಸುಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟಿವೆಯೋ?
